The Program Assistant will work under the direction of the Asthma Impact Model (AIM) Program Manager and the Children’s Health and Air Pollution Study (CHAPS) Project Director to implement AIM and CHAPS programs.

The AIM Program is a multi-component intervention aimed at reducing asthma triggers in the home, ensuring access to, and proper use of, asthma medications both at home and school, and facilitating regular visits to the patient’s health care provider. CHAPS is an environmental health study led by researchers at UC Berkeley to investigate the effects of air pollution on children’s health including asthma, diabetes and obesity.
