The Project Assistant will work under the direction of the Program Manager to assist in implementing the Electric Vehicle Navigator (EVN) Program and coordinating activities and communication between Clean Vehicle Empowerment Collaborative (CVEC) partners across the San Joaquin Valley and CCAC. The purpose of the CVEC is to conduct outreach and facilitate access to electric vehicle technology in disadvantaged communities of the San Joaquin Valley. The Project Assistant will support and facilitate outreach, with a focus on social media outreach, as well as working directly with residents to facilitate access to clean vehicle incentives and financing. In addition, the Project Assistant will provide support to a federally-funded research project being done in collaboration with UC Berkeley to assess the impacts of air pollution on children living in Fresno (CHAPS: Children’s Health and Air Pollution Study).
